Live: Obama introduces Jeh Johnson, his pick for next Homeland Security chief

The president is expected to announce at 2 p.m. today that he has selected Jeh Johnson, a former general counsel for the Pentagon, as the next secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.Jeh C. Johnson, if confirmed by the Senate, would replace Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who left the DHS last month to become president of the University of California system.
